Frequency Allocation Board
Replacing paper-based radio spectrum applications with an online portal and a trackable review process.
The engagement
The Frequency Allocation Board, part of Pakistan's Cabinet Division, manages radio spectrum applications and approvals. The online portal gives applicants a digital way to submit requests and provides a structured route for review and decision-making.
My contribution focused on coordinating tasks and documentation, supporting stakeholder alignment and keeping delivery progress visible across the work.
01 / The challenge
Physical submissions and manual handling made the process slower and increased the effort needed to review and route requests.
Applicants and teams had limited visibility into where requests stood, creating avoidable follow-up and uncertainty.
Different spectrum-related services needed a consistent digital process without obscuring their individual review requirements.
02 / The delivery
Provide a secure web portal where applicants can submit service requests electronically.
Move applications through defined review and approval steps so work reaches the right decision points.
Support clearer status tracking and reporting for applicants and the teams responsible for processing requests.
03 / Project impact
The portal replaces paper-heavy submissions with a digital application route, helping reduce process friction, improve progress visibility, and support more informed operational decisions.
